Poor Orientation is the main cause of Frustration at the University Level.Before entering the University, many people don’t have a Focus. It’s just another level to some, it’s a resting ground for others since no one is going to follow you up to attend classes, show up for tests et Al.
The lack of direction causes many to graduate and feel stranded as if they’ve been cheated meanwhile they never had a Focus to begin with.
I think that statement “going to University means you’ll only go and accept to live a life that’s not yours” doesn’t apply to everyone, or anyone who knows they want to be someone worthwhile in life.
1. Because some people are actively pursuing their careers from their field of study which they learnt in the University.
2. You meet people who help you find the true you, your purpose.
3. You get exposure to different facets of the world in miniature as well as different classes/strata of people who directly or indirectly affect your outlook on life and help you establish a better understanding of Success.
The University is a very potent ground for Success, if you build the right mindset, meet the right people and network properly, set goals and pursue them to completion.
It’s all about Value, starting from yourself to the company you keep. If whatever you do adds Value to You, you are not going to live a life that’s not yours because it is the foundation for Success.
