Nkafu is Recruiting Research & Policy Fellows

SPECIAL RECRUITMENT
With the support of Atlas Network, the Nkafu Policy Institute is very pleased to announce the recruitment of 
 
three (3) Research & Policy Fellows 
to expand its research portfolio and its engagement with policy stakeholders. The challenges facing Cameroon today and the Central African sub-region are extremely complex, requiring rigorous, evidence-informed research that promotes innovative and progressive policy prescriptions.

Nkafu seeks to expand its scholarly endeavors by recruiting mid-to-senior level researchers and creative thinkers to help it achieve its mission of advancing public policies that help all Africans prosper in free, fair, and democratic economies.

We seek policy experts with diverse backgrounds. We are particularly interested in the areas of economic policy, sustainable development, security studies, education and technology policy. Fellows may be appointed for a Full Time or Part Time basis.

Expectations
Reporting directly to the Director of the Nkafu Policy Institute, Research & Policy Fellows will be expected to publish in-depth, peer-reviewed articles and engage policy stakeholders, through various forums, in promoting research outputs. They will co-organize and participate in public events and work with the larger research staff at Nkafu.
 

Qualifications
Successful candidates will hold advanced degrees in their fields or have demonstrated work experience and scholarly output. The individual must have the competence to pursue cutting-edge work and strong communication skills to influence public policy. Strong candidates will be Bilingual or have a working knowledge of both English and French.
