HOUSTON BRACES FOR THE FIRST AFROBEAT FESTIVAL OFFERED BY HITDJS

The city of Houston will be host to the first Annual Afrobeat festival scheduled for Saturday April 1, 2017 African music has made enough impact both socially and economically around the globe.  Music is our cultural identity, pushing African music is pushing African culture. A culture so rich in its diversity, yet so poor in its perception outside of the motherland. For the first time, Djs and artists will be under one roof to share a common platform in showcasing African culture through our rich musical repertoire from Ghana to Nigeria, Congo to Kenya, Zimbabwe to Burkina Faso, Nigeria to Benin, Cameroon to Angola, etc. The city of Houston is known for its diversity, cultural and religious friendly policies making it the third America’s most cultured cities. The Houston metropolitan area is now the most ethnically diverse largest metropolitan area in the United States.

The first Annual Afrobeat Festival 2017 is organized by HitDjs, a consortium of International Djs, with its headquarters based in Houston Texas. Saddled with a simple mission of building a professional reputation while pushing for excellence in representing African music through organized regional representations with a common goal of enabling young men and women of Africa to discover and push the limits while proving avenues for them to succeed and expose their works. As Djs, we have a responsibility to export our music to the shores of the earth. One of the best ways to do this is to encourage and inspire our young men and women giving them the platform to express and challenge their talent pushing the boundaries of their creativity
The First Annual Afrobeat Festival is the first but not the last as the HitDjs plan to carry it to most metropolitan cities in the United States. Guests are advised to arrive early on April 1, 2017 as the event promises to be a sold out event. The Festival’s venue is at Skybox Grill Bar & Games @ 11312 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX, 77077 from 8pm – 2: am.

  1. This place was amazing! Great food, it's smaller than others I guess but it is still a fair sized fun. The decor at this venue was amazing as every note of music reverberates off the beautiful walls. Everything about this venue New York is nothing less than 5 stars.
